J. G. Bennett Quote

Only in moments of great seriousness should one ask for guidance. Then it is from one’s own conscience that guidance comes.…   In moments of really serious crisis for oneself, then this help will come. When you come to a certain stage of not being in the way, of not having your own self-will or being at least able to see it and to recognize when it enters and affects you, then you can receive guidance and you will be shown what to do and you will not have to "take thought for the morrow." This is a very thankful moment. But this is nothing to do with something that one initiates for oneself.
